Social Services Aide or Therapeutic Activities Aide/Trainee/or Worker (3 part time positions - up to 20 hours).

• Two positions are responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of vocation adjustment segments of individual program plans. Duties include job readiness, development, job coaching, monitoring and reporting the progress of individuals, and may include training, supervising or directing individuals within the program.

• One position teaches basic skills of independent living to individuals with varying functional levels of mental retardation/mental health who reside in the community.

• Must be organized and be able to handle multiple tasks. Requires at minimum a High School diploma/GED. Must have a clean driving record and be at least 21 years old. Certified Peer Specialist (up to 19 hours). This position provides supportive services to consumers. Hourly rate $8.50. Must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Be a self identified individual who has received or is receiving state priority group services as defined in MH    
   Bulletin OMH-94-04,    Serious Mental Illness: Adult Priority Group.
• Have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Within the last 3 years, maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time or voluntary work experience
   or obtained at least 24 credit hours of post-secondary education.
