PRESENTS ANNUAL
ELIZABETH “SIS” SIMONS MEMORIAL AWARD
RIDGWAY - Dickinson’s Board of Governors has
honored Tonya Wolfe of Ridgway as the 2012
recipient of the Elizabeth “Sis” Simons Memorial
Award.
The award presentation was made at the Board’s
annual meeting on September 20, 2012. This
prestigious honor recognizes a Dickinson Center
direct service employee who consistently goes above
and beyond in the performance of his/her duties.
Ms. Wolfe’s selection was based upon her exemplary
performance as she consistently met the highest
standards of service excellence.
Ms. Wolfe has been employed with Dickinson Center,
Inc. since 1999. She began her tenure as a Partial
Hospitalization Program (PHP) caseworker in 2000.
She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
in 2011 from Edinboro University in Erie,
Pennsylvania at which time she was subsequently
promoted to PHP Program Director.
“Tonya is very deserving of this award. She
possesses the attributes of an outstanding program
manager with the prerequisite clinical skills,
program planning & development experience, and
financial background to operate a complex service
line for high-risk children and adolescents” stated
Jack Goga, Dickinson Center’s Chief Executive
Officer.
Wolfe received a monetary gift and will have her
name engraved on the Elizabeth “Sis” Simons Memorial
Award plaque displayed at the Dickinson Center main
office at 43 Servidea Drive in Ridgway. Previous
award recipients include Tammy Perkins, Heidi
Eastman, Ed Badeau, Barb Cole, John Ogden, Dr. Paul
Francis, Michael DeStefano, Jennifer Dippold, Dawn
Dovensky, Tana Funair, and Pat Work.
Elizabeth “Sis” Simons, was a founding member of
the original Dickinson Board of Governors and served
for over four decades demonstrating exemplary
leadership, public relations, caring and dedication
to Dickinson’s mission. She achieved an honorary
“life” membership on the Board of Governors until
her death on July 18, 2001. The Board established
the Sis Simons Award to honor her memory and
recognize her significant contributions to Dickinson
Center.

Dickinson’s Charity Ball was held on
June 15, 2012 at The Red Fern to benefit the
Possibilities DCI Autism Program. We offered a
silent auction, a Treasure Chest Raffle, and two items
for open bidding to help raise funds of almost $20,000!
We would like to thank our Patrons and
Sponsors. We had 14 - $1,000 table sponsors and 11- $300
level patrons. Additionally, we had $4,000 donated by
two anonymous donors. THANK YOU!
Dickinson
Center, Inc. (DCI) is pleased to announce the
opening of the psychiatric practice of Dr.
Hridayeash Pathak in its Coudersport offices. Dr.
Pathak has held a long-time practice in Northwestern
Pennsylvania and presently serves as Dickinson
Center’s Medical Director. His practice has
included working with adults, adolescents and
children. He also has specialized in the diagnosis
and treatment of forensic patients.
Dr. Pathak will be providing care to Potter County
and its residents effective Thursday, July 12, 2012,
at the Gunzberger Annex, 3rd Floor, 1
North Main Street, Coudersport, PA 16915. His
practice will be on Thursdays and Fridays.

8:00a.am. and 5:00p.m. on either of these days by

DCI Welcomes new Certified Registered Nurse
Practioner
Also,
Dickinson Center, Inc. is pleased to announce the
practice and opening of Mrs. Janet Keslar who will
serve in the capacity as a Certified Registered
Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Her clinical practice
will serve patients in the Coudersport and Ridgway
out-patient offices. She is credentialed to serve
children as well as younger and older adults. Mrs.
Keslar previously worked at Dubois Regional Medical
Center in its psychiatric in-patient unit and has
extensive background in psychiatric nursing. She and
her husband make their home in Punxsutawney,
Pennsylvania. For service information with Mrs.
